What this covers

This policy covers the MarketTrace website (markettrace.ai) and the MarketTrace agent feed — the MCP server at api.markettrace.ai/mcp (listed in the MCP registry as ai.markettrace/agent-feed). MarketTrace is a read-only market-data product: it serves public cryptocurrency market statistics. It has no trading functionality and never asks for exchange API keys, wallets, or funds.

Data we collect on the website

The website has no user accounts. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage: pages visited, referrer, device and browser type, and coarse location derived by Google. If your browser or an extension blocks analytics, the site works identically.

Partner links and banners

Some pages carry links or banners to partners — exchanges and other products — and we may earn a commission if you sign up through one. These are fixed placements we choose ourselves: there is no ad network, no behavioural or personalised targeting, and no advertising profile is built about you. We do not sell or share personal data for advertising. Following a partner link takes you to that company's own site, where their privacy policy applies, and they may see that the visit came from MarketTrace.

Data we collect on the agent feed

Connecting an AI agent to the feed uses OAuth sign-in handled by Stytch, our authentication provider. We receive and store: your email address (used for the magic-link sign-in), an account identifier, and per-account usage metering (which tool was called and when, kept in server logs with limited retention). We do notreceive or store your AI conversations — the server only sees the tool calls an agent makes (e.g. "market state for BTC"), never the chat around them. The market data itself is public and contains no personal information.

How we use data

To operate and secure the service (authentication, per-account rate limits, abuse prevention), to understand aggregate usage, and to contact you about the service if ever needed. No sale of personal data, and no sharing of personal data with third parties for their own marketing.

Processors and third parties

Stytch (authentication), Google Analytics (website usage), Cloudflare (CDN and network security), Hetzner (hosting, EU data center). Each processes data only to provide its function. Market data displayed on the site originates from public exchange feeds (Binance, Bybit, OKX, Hyperliquid) and contains no user data.

Retention

Operational logs (including agent-feed usage metering) are kept for a limited period and rotated. Your account record at Stytch persists until you ask us to delete it.

Your rights

Email us to access or delete the data tied to your account (your email address and usage records). We will action requests within 30 days.

Changes

Material changes to this policy update the date above. The current version always lives at this URL.
